1-7-10 Bowling & Entertainment Center

The 1-7-10 Bowling and Entertainment Center invites your group to try the unique sport of candlepin bowling. Found only in New England and some Canadian provinces, candlepin bowling is a recreational sport for all ages. Our facility has twenty candlepin bowling lanes with free bumpers available for your younger campers. We also offer Galactic Bowling with colorful lights on the lanes. Campers will also enjoy our great all-ages arcade. Enjoy a tasty snack or a full meal at Splitters, a casual on-site restaurant. We have fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, seafood platters, and pizza. Our terrific team of employees is dedicated to ensuring your group a fun-filled experience.

Bowling Fun Facts

Why are bowling lanes oiled, with more oil placed at the start of the lane and less at the end? What is the advantage of throwing a “hook” ball? And why do those pins remain standing even though the ball hit them?

Ask the staff at the bowling lane both these and other questions. Then have your campers apply simple properties of physics to the game of bowling, and watch their game improve! Experiment with different throwing techniques and discover why the pros release the ball low to the ground, spin the ball so it hooks, and hit the pins at an angle.
