Liberty State Park
Features exhibits and programs focusing on the natural history and ecology of the Hudson River Estuary. Visit for spectacular views, interpretive programs, and miles of trails suited to recreational activities. The Park is also the site of the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey train terminal, an interpretive center, and 36 acres of diverse salt marsh habitat – one of the few remaining tidal marshes of the Hudson River Estuary. The Park features a 2-mile promenade that presents a sweeping view of the Hudson River, Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. It offers public interpretive programs, education programs, kayak tours, and outreach.
