Long Island Science Center

The Long Island Science Center's learning exhibits and educational programs teach through an interactive, exciting & fun learning environment. Our mission is to promote the knowledge and love of science, technology, engineering, and math in campers of all ages. Exhibits and programs "bring science to life" through exciting, interactive, hands-on, inquiry-based learning activities. The "learn by doing principle" is at the core of our programs—taking STEM out of the textbook and applying it to real life situations. A focus on investigation, trial and error, testing and working in teams defines the programs' lab experiences. Our exhibits and programs feature present-day fields of study and careers.
