Animagic Museum of Animation

A 20-minute guided tour of the Museum of Animation, Special Effects and Art will introduce your camp group to the world of special effects. They will see ceramics, artwork, and original animation models used in famous movies, as well as a genuine Academy Award won by Eugene Mamut, a co-owner of Animagic. During their tour, campers will hear about the modern technologies that went into the making of The Matrix, X-Men, and other movies. You can also add on a two-hour workshop as part of your trip, during which campers will have the opportunity to create their own model and make an animated movie. They’ll next get to record it on the computer, add sound and music, and then have it uploaded to YouTube. The Animagic Academy also offers advanced team workshops.
