Adventureland Amusement Park

Since 1962, the Adventureland Family has created miles of smiles for many group outings across Long Island and the tri-state area. As a family amusement park, we have rides for everyone, from Long Island's only spinning coaster, Turbulence, and water rides like Adventure Falls Log Flume, to family rides like the Carousel and Ferris Wheel and kiddie rides like the Tea Cups and the Alfie Express. New for 2018, Mystery Mansion dark ride will be sure to keep you guessing what’s coming next! In our indoor, climate controlled arcade, groups can play games such as skeeball and hoops, or head outside to test their skills to win prizes at games like Whopper Water and Whac-A-Mole. Adventureland never charges admission or for parking; you only pay if you ride! Options for food packages, game packages and snack packages available. Want the park all to yourself? Ask us how you can book an exclusive event! Need a new and exciting way to raise money for your organization? Let us help you turn your group trip into a fundraiser! Let the Adventureland Family continue to create fun filled memories for your youth group.

Amusement Parks Fun Facts

Which horses on a carousel move the fastest: the ones on the inside or the ones on the outside? Does a roller coaster have an engine? How does the car stay on the track when it goes upside down around a loop? Which passenger travels the farthest on the pirate ship ride – the one seated in the center or the one seated on the end?

Amusement park rides can provide a fun glimpse into the physics needed to make them work. Next time you visit a theme park, ask the staff if they have any materials to help your campers to understand the science behind the rides. They will find that physics can be pretty amusing!
