The Florida Museum of Natural History, located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, is one of the nation’s top five natural history museums. The Florida Museum has rotating featured exhibits, eight permanent exhibits including the Butterfly Rainforest and several outside areas to discover! Permanent exhibits feature science-oriented interactives, fossil collections, the waterways and wildlife of Florida, the powerful Calusa people, alternative energy sources and more.
