Austin Zoo

Austin Zoo’s mission is to assist animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education. Located on approximately 15 acres of land, the Zoo features over 350 animals of more than 100 different species, including African lions, Bengal tigers, capuchin monkeys, iguanas, pythons, black bears, cougars and many more animals. Groups can also take a scenic train ride through the Texas Hill Country on the Rawhide Rocket, or print off a scavenger hunt from the Austin Zoo website.
