Bunker Hill Monument

Erected on Breed’s Hill where most of the Battle of Bunker Hill occurred during the American Revolutionary War, Bunker Hill Monument was one of the United States’ first monuments. Located across the street from Bunker Hill Museum, the 221-foot obelisk was designed by Solomon Willard. Groups can learn about all aspects of the battle from the soldiers on both sides to the geography of Bunker Hill during lectures, while climbing the monument, on museum tours, in educational programs, and more.
