Bergen County Zoological Park

This 18-acre site is a great place to see wildlife from North, Central, and South America. Buffalo and horses, as well as more exotic animals such as the sloth and tamarins, showcase diversity of wildlife and animals’ different habitats. The park is located in scenic Van Saun County Park, which offers great opportunities for bird watching and picnicking, as well as the carousel and miniature train rides. Programs include educational tours, outreach, scout workshops and overnights, and seasonal events.
