Trout Lake Nature Center
The Center offers a variety of year-round programs designed to teach visitors about the wildlife, ecosystems, and the flora and fauna of the Central Florida region. Dependent on grade level, students might learn how animals use their senses for survival, observe plant and animal behaviors, learn about the life cycle of plants and trees, develop an understanding of the interdependence of living things, classify animals into major groups, discover how humans impact aquatic systems, or learn about weather.

The Center brings excitement to the study of nature with musical and holiday events, hikes, educational programs, scouting activities and more. The 230-acre property features a museum, educational displays, several trails, a swinging bridge, picnic area and stunning grandfather oaks.
