Dolan DNA Learning Center

The mission of the DNA Learning Center is to prepare groups to thrive in the gene age by being exposed to the principles of genetics and having the opportunity to do hands-on experiments with DNA. Campers middle school aged and up have the exciting and unique opportunity to study molecular biology. Learn about inheritance using corn, or extra DNA from bacteria. High School-aged visitors can try their hand at genetically engineering bacteria, analyzing human DNA, and perhaps even have the opportunity to analyze their own genotype. Groups can take a look at viruses, make cheese from enzymes, and so much more.
