Boston Bowl - Family Fun Center

Treat your group to a fun time at Boston Bowl Boston or Hanover’s bowling alley and arcade. Featuring tenpin and candlepin bowling, there’s no telling how much for your group will have out on the lanes. For the younger groups, bumpers can be raised for the game. Each lane fits 5-6 people. The Boston location’s GWIZZ arcade room features over 80 interactive games such as Ice Ball, Basket Fever, and Wheel of Fortune. The game room at the Hanover location has similar arcade games as well as Fruit Ninja, Big Bass Wheel, and Ducky Splash. Food options are available to your group at both locations.

Hold your next fundraiser at Boston Bowl Boston or Hanover.

Bowling Fun Facts

Why are bowling lanes oiled, with more oil placed at the start of the lane and less at the end? What is the advantage of throwing a “hook” ball? And why do those pins remain standing even though the ball hit them?

Ask the staff at the bowling lane both these and other questions. Then have your campers apply simple properties of physics to the game of bowling, and watch their game improve! Experiment with different throwing techniques and discover why the pros release the ball low to the ground, spin the ball so it hooks, and hit the pins at an angle.
