ABOUT

Dallas Holocaust Museum

The Dallas Holocaust Museum is a remembrance of the calculated murder of 6 million European Jews and other targeted groups, as well as a center that acts to further human rights, fight prejudice and hate. The permanent exhibit focuses on April 19, 1943. On this day, three things happened: the 20th Deportation Train from Belgium was attacked by partisans, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising began, and the Bermuda Conference met. These events illustrate wartime heroism, Jewish resistance against all odds, and diplomatic indifference. Groups can hear a survivor speak and visit the Garden of Remembrance.
