ABOUT

Delaware Aerospace Education Foundation

The DASEF’s Environmental Outpost offers hands-on field trips and science labs about the Earth’s environment, physics, and our everyday understanding of life. Take groups outside on a nature walk to explore ecosystems, insects, and the adaptations of plant life; study the skies and weather in the planetarium, or do experiments in the science lab. Students will collect data, learn to make comparisons between different objects, and work with different scientific tools. In a lab, groups might reflect light with prisms, collect soil samples, or work with magnets and models. DASEF’s hands-on-first approach means that science has never been more interesting!
